Dr. Radha Rampersad works in Trinidad as an advocate for women and human rights. She is dedicated to helping the underprivileged achieve a better life. In 2014, Rampersad received the Golden Rule International Award, which recognizes people who embody the spirit of the Golden Rule. Rampersad has also served as an ambassador for the iChange Nations institution, which helps to mentor and train individuals to do humanitarian work worldwide.

She says, “I am a strong woman, and I stand firmly in support of nation-building and the preservation of women and human rights. We must realize that we belong to the same race—the Human Race.”
